⚠️ Important Note

  • The Beckett T501 gauge is not included with the 51484U Electrode Kit and must be purchased separately, as Beckett does not provide this gauge as part of the kit.

  • The T501 gauge is essential for:

    • Setting the electrode gap and position

    • Determining the correct oil nozzle distance from the burner head on AF, AFG, AFII, NX, SF, SM, and SR burners

    • Checking firing pin length and motor-to-blower wheel gap on AFII burners

🔧 Common Symptoms Requiring Replacement

  • Hard starting or failed ignition

  • Weak or inconsistent burner flame

  • Worn or cracked insulators

  • Carbon tracking or pitting on electrode rods

💡 Quick Shopper Tips

  • Verify that your AFII burner uses an HLX series blast tube that is 9" or shorter before ordering.

  • Always use the T501 gauge for accurate electrode gap settings.

  • If your burner has an air tube longer than 9", use the Beckett 5782 Electrode Kit instead.
