The Beckett 51670U Electrode Kit is designed for AFII oil burners that use FBX style fixed heads with blast tubes up to 9 inches in length. This OEM-quality kit provides all the components you need to restore reliable ignition performance and maintain proper burner operation.

Kit Includes

  • 2 × EA16313M Electrode Insulator Assemblies (for FBX heads)

  • 2 × 31891 Electrode Contacts (Spade Terminals)

  • 2 × 21705 Transformer Wires

  • 2 × 393008 Electrode Extension Rods

  • 2 × 3925 Electrode Rod Couplings

⚠️ Important Note

The Beckett T501 gauge is not included with the 51670U Electrode Kit and must be purchased separately, as Beckett does not provide this gauge as part of the kit.

The T501 gauge is essential for:

  • Setting the electrode gap and position

  • Determining the correct oil nozzle distance from the burner head on AF, AFG, AFII, NX, SF, SM, and SR burners

  • Checking firing pin length and motor-to-blower wheel gap on AFII burners

🔧 Common Symptoms Requiring Replacement

If your oil burner needs electrode service or replacement, you may notice:

  • Failure to ignite on startup

  • Weak or inconsistent ignition spark

  • Intermittent burner lockouts

  • Excessive soot buildup or smoky flame

  • Burnt, cracked, or corroded electrode insulators
