The 5225 Series Automatic Reset or cycling models do not have a reset button and feature SPDT switch action. Should the temperature exceed the control's fixed setting, the normally closed (N.C.) contacts will open. At the same time the normally open (N.O.) contacts will make, and could be used to signal the over-temperature condition if so desired.
