GAS OVEN THERMOSTAT 36" CAPILLAR 120 VOLT. Robertshaw (formerly Eaton) Gas Oven Thermostats were designed for use in conventional ovens in combination with the ignition system. Their compact design fits even in confined areas. Each of these EGT series thermostats is a highly reliable temperature control with a long operating life. This switch uses a patented push-to-turn function to activate the range valve or close the switch contacts. Turning on the thermostat activates the silicon carbide ignitor bar. When this block reaches the correct temperature, it opens the gas valve and ignites the gas.
